Historic Salisbury Foundation's Archive Room is located at the Salisbury Station and is open to the public:
Mondays 9 a.m. to Noon
Wednesdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fridays 9 a.m. to Noon
Or by appointment when calling 704.636.0103.
The archive room contains a collection of books on regional history topics, files covering some historic properties and photos. We are always looking to increase the information that we can share with the public, and do take donations of books, photos, postcards, maps and other historic documents pertaining to the history of Salisbury and Rowan County.
If you would like to keep your original photos or documents, HSF can digitally scan them and let you keep your originals. This will allow us to make them available for research, to gain a better understanding of our history. Call today to schedule a time to have your historic documents scanned.
